Dance Fever

Tyler learned how to jump and dance this weekend because he was so excited the RSV was almost gone. Check out the video clip where he shows off his new trick!

Thursday January 24th was an exciting day for Tyler (and Mommy and Daddy). At almost 7 months old, Tyler made his first trip to the ER at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Although he had a bout with the respiratory virus RSV, he remained in good spirits and was excited to find that Children's Hospital had gowns just for little guys (see photo) and toys to play with.

Tyler ended the day with his own nebulizer, complete with a duck-faced mask, (see photo) which Daddy uses a few times a day to help Tyler breathe a little easier. If all goes well he should be finished with the breathing treatments in time to celebrate Mardi Gras!

He's Moving!

While we are very excited for Tyler to start the crawling process, we are not that anxious or ready for that matter, for him to be mobile yet! It wasn't a graceful crawl, it was more like a new cadet just starting boot camp. Either way, the process has begun and you can see the wheels turning and the determination in his face. He's only 6 and a half months old! The video would not fit but here is a screenprint from the video.

Christmas Gifts

Here is Tyler and his haul. He has very gracious aunts, uncles and grandparents. Tyler wanted to show everyone what a great Christmas he had! He is a very lucky boy! He is very fortunate to have such a great and loving family. If he could talk, he would say, " Thank you." Right now, all you will get out of him is, " Bah, Bah, Bah."

We have finally entered the twenty-first century and the internet is up and running at the Smith House! (Thanks to Scott for helping us out!)
