First Birthday

Today is Tyler's birthday and we wanted to do a little something special for him because his big birthday party is this coming Sunday. So, we got him a cupcake. Here he is all clean and very curious about the candle. Jen helped him blow out the candle.

Father's Day - June 15, 2008

Tyler got Jeff a baseball with a picture of himself in his Cardinal outfit that Jeff can put on his desk at work. Tyler also got Jeff a pair of plaid dress shorts. The same ones that match Tyler's shorts in the picture from the MANKER Family reunion (See older post). We then went to Bob Evans for breakfast where Tyler proceeded to eat all of his scrambled eggs, all of his waffle, all of a sausage link and some hash browns.

After breakfast we went out to Grandma and Grandpa Harness' house for BBQ by Jake. It was really good. Tyler proceeded to show everyone that he can crawl on all fours. This was news to Jeff and I. Normally, he just does his army "crawl through the mud on his belly" crawl. Another sticker for the 1st year book!

Tyler is hamming it up with Aunt Michelle. He likes sunglasses, he just doesn't like to wear them.

Ethan Daniel Carroll - June 14, 2008

After the MANKER Reunion, we stopped at the hospital to welcome Tyler's new cousin - Ethan Daniel Carroll. He was born on 6/13 at 6:13 pm. He weighed in at 7lbs 8 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. (Jen and Ron - please correct me if I have it incorrect.) He is very cute! Welcome to the world Ethan.

MANKER Family Reunion - June 14, 2008

After GRANT'S FARM, we all went out to Klondike Park in St. Charles County to attend the 1st annual MANKER Family Reunion. We had a great time. We were able to visit with a lot of people that we had not seen in a while, as well as meet several new additions to the family. We are looking forward to it next year.

InBEV Farms - June 14, 2008

Tyler and Jen went to visit Grant's Farm while it is still an AB facility. Jen met up with her friend Aimee and her family. They were in from Kansas City. Tyler wanted nothing to do with feeding the baby goats and the fake Clydesdale in the background didn't seem to phase him a bit either.

June 1st - Still Playing...

Tyler loves to push his little car around. Sometimes he rides on it but he hasn't figured out how to move forward yet, so for right now he is content to push it where he needs to go. After he is bored with the car he's still very excited to play in the exersaucer. What a day!

June 1st - Kitchen Play

Tyler is pulling up to a stand now. He does it on everything, coffee tables, furniture and especially the pantry. As seen in the pictures below he loves to play in the kitchen and is especially fond of the shiny granola bars. He also likes to venture to the laundry room, shut the door, and then peak back through the open to see if we are watching him.

June 1st - First Time in the Baby Pool

Sunday June 1st was finally warm and dry enough to venture out to the subdivision pool. It was packed! I guess everyone else had the same idea. It took Tyler a little while to warm up to the idea of the pool but once we put him in the baby boat he was good to go!

May 15th - Bathtime

Tyler loves to play in the bathtub. He loves all his bath toys especially the baby rubber duckies. Can you guess who fixed his hair for these pictures?

May 11th - Mothers Day

We celebrated Mothers Day with Grandma and Grandpa Schroeder, Aunt Jen, Uncle Ron and Uncle Murphy with a BBQ dinner at our house. The weather was too windy to grill so Jeff cooked BBQ ribs in the oven. Everyon agreed the ribs were outstanding!

May 10th - Mothers Day with Grandma Harness at the Botanical Gardens

We spent Mothers Day Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa Harness at the Botanical Gardens. Everyone had a great time and Tyler thoroughly enjoyed the cookies and Ted Drewe's supplied by Grandpa Harness!

April 20th - Playing in the Park

Sorry it has been so long since we have posted. We have alot of pictures to post so bear with us.

April 20th was a beautiful Sunday so we decided to pack a picnic lunch and head to Queeny Park. Tyler enjoyed the stroller ride but was not as enthused about the playground. We know that will change in a few short months!
