July 8th - Tyler's New Shirt

Check out Tyler's new shirt. He's pretty excited about it!

Surprise!!! We're expecting Tyler's little brother or sister in February. The official due date is February 17, 2009 but the doctor advises a c-section is the way to go so it will be scheduled for early February. Jen is 8 weeks along and doing fine. We had an ultrasound last week, heard the heartbeat and could see that the little one is about the size of a kidney bean right now. We saw the little bean in 3D this time. The ultrasound picture is attached below.

4th of July at Lake of the Ozarks

The Smith family spent 4th of July camping at the Lake of the Ozarks with the Williams' family, Scott & Michelle Harness, and Marvin & Diana Harness. We all had a great time and can't wait to do it again soon! Scroll down for many many pictures...

Here is Tyler's first speed boat ride. He was a little fussy when we were idle but loved the breeze when we were speeding across the main channel.

Tyler took his first trip to the beach. He thoroughly enjoyed it - especially the sand and rocks! Thank you Spencer for making him his first hot tub and throne! .

Then when he got tired of shoveling sand, he walked...

And walked... We can't wait for him to learn how to do it on his own!

June 29th - 1st Birthday Party

Tyler had a great time at his 1st birthday party. He ate way too much ice cream and hot dogs which might explain why he wasn't too interested in the cake! (see picture below)


He had alot of great presents to open and plays with all of them. He's very grateful to everyone for all the wonderful toys, books, and clothes!
