Opening Day
Cardinals opening day was Monday March 31st. We put Tyler in his Cardinals gear and sent him off to school (daycare) where most of his other classmates in the nursery were donning their gear as well. We hoped for a win but got a rain out instead. Better luck next year!
First Easter (2008)
Tyler had a fun-filled, but very strange, first Easter. It was fun-filled because he got to see most of his family and had a great time. It will go down as one of the strangest Easters we can remember because it was so early in the year (March 23rd) and it snowed!

He spent the morning going to church, and then was off to Easter brunch at Grandma & Grandpa Schroeder's house (see first and second pictures). Tyler enjoyed charming his aunts and uncles while mommy & daddy enjoyed the delicious mimosas!
Tyler spent the afternoon at Grandma & Grandpa Harness' house. He participated in his first Easter egg hunt where the competition was fierce (see the fourth picture). He spent the rest of the afternoon playing with plastic eggs, eating banana bread and charming his cousins, grandparents and aunts & uncles.
What a day...We can report that Tyler went to bed pretty early that night!

Meramec Flooding
We all took a trip down to I-44 and Hwy 141 during the crest of the Meramec Flood. It was pretty amazing. We managed to steer clear of the news reporters. Here are a couple of shots of the flooding, notice how the water is lapping at the door to Steak & Shake (first and fourth pictures) and has flooded some trucks left in the commuter lot (third picture).
