Walt Disney World September 2010

We got to Orlando, FL and stayed at the Embassy Suites by the airport the first night. We went to Cocoa Beach the next day since we could not check in at the Saratoga Springs Walt Disney Resort until about 3 pm.

Tyler and Annie loved the beach. They could not get enough of the sand. We tried to get them into the water and neither one wanted anything to do with the water. Maybe next year.

One of the many trips on the monorail. Annie was as cool as a movie star!

The tourist shot.

Jen and Tyler on DUMBO. Tyler loved it. He wouldn't stop talking about it.

This was the MOVE IT, SHAKE IT, CELEBRATE IT parade. Music, dancing, very energetic.

The WOODY float stopped right in front of us. Tyler was sooooo excited.

Tyler got to dance (sort of) right next to WOODY.

Annie just enjoyed the show.

We tried the tourist shot again. Tyler still wanted nothing to do with it.

We rode the Walt Disney steam engine around the park.

Still on the steam engine.

The kids love to ride any carousel.

This was the Electrical Parade. It started at 9:00 pm. The kids were still up but getting very tired. So we bribed them with ice cream. Tyler made it through the whole parade. Annie fell asleep in daddy's arms.

The ice cream was a big hit!

This float was a tribute to American troops. It was huge. It took Jeff four pictures to capture the whole thing. Very patriotic!!

We went to Chef Mickey's for a character breakfast. The kids got to meet Goofy, Donald Duck, Minnie, Mickey and Pluto.

Anxiously waiting for the characters to arrive.

So cute!

In between going to and from the Magic Kingdom, we enjoyed the pool at the resort.

The fountains were a big hit.

Did we mention that Tyler loved the fountains?

Annie sort of liked the fountains.

Zero entry pool.

Water slide with tunnel.

The tourist shot at Epcot Center.

Obviously, not our kids but one of the many princesses at Epcot.

Again, not Tyler and Annie.

Germany Village at Epcot
Biergarten inside the Germany Village. We ate lunch here.

Waiting for lunch.

Tyler enjoyed a liter of Oktoberfest lager. just kidding. Jeff did this for the picture, Jen had nothing to do with it.

Another princess.

We also went to Downtown Disney, it was next door to our resort. Tyler and Annie love Winnie the Pooh.

Fake princesses at Downtown Disney.

Legoland at Downtown Disney.

LEGO Lochness Monster. Our resort is in the background. Tyler being camera friendly again.

more LEGOs

LEGO Woody

Jen sooo wanted to go to the Ghiradelli Store. We didn't make it. Tyler and Anniewere not co-operating and had other plans.

Tyler cannot get enough of the trains. He got to drive this one. He looks like a natural.

Jeff and Annie tagged along for the ride.

Buzz Lightyear. Tyler was talking to him but Buzz didn't say much, then Tyler realized he was not real.

We had lunch here too. Hard reservation to get.

The entrance was one huge fish tank.

The whole restaurant was made to look like a rain forest complete with a thunder and lightning show every half hour. It scared Tyler and Annie. Those are elephants on the right hand side of the picture. Very realistic looking. They moved too every once in a while.

This was a special ticket event that was available for the kids to dress up in their costumes and trick or treat around the Magic Kingdom. They kicked everyone out of the park at 7:00 pm and you could only get in if you had this special ticket. It was pretty cool. The whole park was decorated in Halloween themes.

Before we left for the special ticket event.

Rain or shine, we were going to use the special tickets.

Cinderella's coach

The kids were gearing up for the fireworks display. It was 8:00 pm at this point.

Hard to tell but these are pics of the Magic Kingdom all decorated for Halloween.

This was a buggy that was near the "check-in" for our resort - Saratoga Springs Walt Disney Resort.

Pics of our villa and the kids.

Annie says "Thanks" for taking the time to look at our Disney family vacation pics!
